I’m an SF Bay Area native and recent Cornell grad who majored in Information Science (with a concentration in UX). My mission is to design for social impact and I am especially interested in sustainability, spatial planning, and the future of mobility.
Growing up, I have always been curious about the intersection of art and technology whether it be learning about Eero Saarinen chairs, the latest iPhone, or how to use a new Adobe app. Through college, this same curiosity has led me to question: how can we steer innovation beyond just commercial successes and instead towards improvements in society and fulfilling human experiences? How can we ensure that new, hot technologies are additive and not subtractive to users?
I am eager to answer this imperative question and many others with any project that comes my way.
Outside of design, I love to spend time being active outdoors. I became an avid rower in middle school and I walked on as a coxswain for the Men’s Varsity Lightweight rowing team during college. In my off time, I enjoy backpacking and camping with friends in my California backyard, taking plenty of photos along the way.
